WELCH-ALLYN BI-PHASIC DEFIBRILLATOR
In order to meet market requirements, Welch-Allyn needed a reduction in size of the defibrillator module. This reduction required innovative circuit design and layout. We met this challenge by utilizing our expertise in high voltage, high power circuitry and microprocessor control. Garrett Technologies assisted Welch-Allyn through efficacy studies and regulatory submissions.

VIROTECK IN-VITRO GLUCOSE MONITOR
The consumer nature of this product required a high accuracy, low cost and low power design. We provided expertise in low power analog and digital CMOS design. In order to meet the cost requirements, ensure quick product development and part availability, we used off the shelf components.

AJ MEDICAL DEVICES IMPLANTABLE HEART MONITOR
This project required microprocessor operation and includes custom low power analog, digital circuitry and RF circuitry.

As an implantable device, it required innovative packaging and chip on board construction. The project also required digital signal processing, RF design and algorithm design were also incorporated into the product. We also assisted AJ Medical Devices in applying for ISW and performing human trials prior to regulatory submission.

CONSUMER APPLIANCE
High volume, low cost microprocessor device. The microprocessor device needed to meet demanding cost objectives and be producable in large quantities.
