aSSET MONITORING Tag
This project was to build a back-end status monitoring platform in the form of an external tag to receive status updates from the device and to push the information to a server, and have the back-end system send push notifications (emails, texts, application push, etc.) to the appropriate stakeholders.
The monitoring tag uses various sensors for establishing the condition of the device, utilizing sound, motion-related events and environmental conditions.
The mobile application associates a device with a specific customer account allowing the user to log in to their account, and view the device identifier, the location and the current status of the device and accessories. It also allows the purchase of accessories.
The device is capable of utilizing both local and wide-area networks such as Wi-Fi, BLE, Sigfox, LORA, NB IoT and LTE-M
